About Ulrik
My work has moved between corporate strategy, entrepreneurship, venture building and health innovation.
What connects it is an interest in understanding complex problems, identifying what might fundamentally improve them and turning those ideas into practical solutions.
Strategy and technology
My early career was spent working with strategy, markets, technology and business development inside larger organisations, including corporate strategy and business intelligence at Vestas.
That work involved understanding how technology, industry structure and long-term shifts shape what becomes possible — and what becomes necessary.
Building from zero
Over time I moved from analysing change to building it, working on new ventures from the earliest concept stage.
Ulrik Ditlev Eriksen co-founded Brain+, a company exploring how digital technology could help address cognitive decline and neurological disease. That work spanned product development, clinical and scientific collaboration, fundraising, partnerships and a public listing.
Health and prevention
The more I worked with health, the more my attention moved upstream — towards prevention, longevity and reducing the burden of chronic disease.
Longevity Institute focuses on exploring and communicating the evidence behind healthier and longer lives. Vila Health works on translating health knowledge into practical, personalised support people can use in everyday life.
What I work on today
Today I spend much of my time exploring, building and supporting initiatives where evidence, technology and entrepreneurship can contribute to healthier lives, human potential and better solutions to meaningful problems.
